we're back in singapore. after 4 days in padang celebrating chinese new year with my paternal family. i sooo enjoyed my time there. well except the last day la. the days were filled with food, food and more food. gosh. i think i like gain 2 kilos. it crazee and insane there. especially during chinese new year day. people were like swarming my grandmother house as if there are like free food inside. ok there is free food. as usual the day started with ang baos time from my grandparents. uncles and aunties. then we were off to our visitation of a loooong list of grand uncles and aunties. house after house. food and more food and more food. due to our excessive eating and no regard for roadside food. yesterday. the day that we all had to come back. all of us got struck by food poisoning. it was sooooo painful man. out of the 17 granchildren. 14 got the food poisoning. but it was hilarious to. because our parents were going hay-wire. some thought we got dengue fever. while the other thought we got the bird flu. then they started blaming the soto guy. the satay man or the nasi rames man. haha. but none of us got anything to say. because we were sooooo weak man!!!! we look so sick man. people were vomitting. and diaroheaaaing... haha. the trip home was the quietest ever. which was rather weird. because knowing the family is big loud group of 21. anyway. after rest and medication. we were all a okaaaay already. think after this everyone will be abstaining from soto, satay and nasi rames.
